Erythrophleum chlorostachys - Top End Ironwood
NT Native Ironwood is one of the most important native timber species in Northern Australia. Resistant to borers, termites, and fungal rots, it is also one of the heaviest, strongest and most durable timbers in the world. Freshly cut timber appears pink, but darkens to a deep rich red colour with beautiful swirls in the grain on some pieces.

Eucalyptus camaldulensis - River Red Gum
An NT Native hardwood, River Red Gum is renowned for its durability, rot resistance, strength and distinct colouring. Heartwood is usually a brilliant red colour, and can range from shades of light pink to almost black.

Acacia auriculiformis - Darwin Black Wattle
NT Native Black Wattle is a hardwood known for its durability, strength and resistance to decay, termite and insect attack. Prized for its unique grain pattern, and mostly yellowish or brownish heartwood with dark streaks or patches.

Eucalyptus tetrodonta - Top End Stringybark
One of the primary Top End termite resistant hardwood species with hard heavy timber, excellent weathering durability and very good impact properties. Comparable to the best of the ironbarks, and exceeding almost all other Australian and imported timber species. Heartwood is pale reddish-brown with pale yellow or white sapwood.

Grevillea pteridifolia - Darwin Silky-Oak
Extremely rare Top End timber as few specimens reaching millable size. Gorgeous glistening medullary ray (plant vascular system) adds rich character with red heartwood colouring, varying to pinks. Related to Southern Silky Oak, with its established reputation as a quality furniture timber.

Khaya Senegalensis - African Mahogany
African Mahogany is known worldwide for its aesthetically pleasing decorative streaking and variations in colour. Heartwood ranges from medium to dark reddish brown, darkening with age.
