Moderate-sized hardy & spreading semi-deciduous shade tree. Unique tubular orchid-like cream flowers with mauve-purple throat. Highly regarded smooth sweet edible fleshy berries eaten raw, cooked or dried. Important host tree for Native Hawk Moth. Excellent parkland, coastal, monsoon forest & open forest woodland planting. Aboriginal Plant Knowledge. Can be larger but generally 7-12M
